Hello all! We've got some exciting, and not so exciting news to share with you. The not so fun stuff first:
After much deliberation, we're going to delay the shipping of games from China for a couple of weeks, meaning you will be getting your games in June, instead of May. The reason for this is because of the word the year so far: tariffs.
We've decided to hold on shipping for a few weeks with the hope that the tariffs drop. If you're reading the news, you might know that the tariffs are now 145% on Chinese made products. You also might know that anything could happen at any time... so we're keeping our fingers crossed and buying ourselves two weeks. This comes with two important caveats:
The first is that this is for a specific amount of two additional weeks. We will not be delaying further than that. If the tariffs are still in effect in the first week of June, so be it. We'll eat that cost. The most important thing to us is that we get Pluto Dinerama in your hands. We can't thank you enough for your support-- at this point of navigating the current tariff reality, it's your support that's getting us through it.
The second is that under no circumstances will we be charging you more for the game you already bought. Any enterprise like this comes with inherent risk, and it's important for us to make clear that's a risk we chose to take.
Onto the good news:
The game is OFFICIALLY A REAL THING! We got our pre-assembly copy in the mail last week, and it looks incredible! Check out our unboxing video of it below:

Hello folks!
Good news: manufacturing is underway! We don't have anything to show yet (other than some long receipts) but the production process so far has been on-time with minimal complications.
All of that's to say, we're still on-target for our original May shipment goal.
In the upcoming week we should have some great pictures of the fully produced, manicured game. We can't wait to share it with you!

It's 2025, wow!
Good news; things are very on track for Pluto Dinerama to be on your game-shelves by spring! We're doing last checks now before we send final, final versions to our manufacturers.
You should all have gotten an email from Backerkit with the Pledge Manager where you can put in your address and get more games and/or add-ons if your heart desires. If you haven't received an email from them, please reach out!
We couldn't be more excited to play the game with everyone this year. The last 4 months since the end of the Kickstarter have been some of the most difficult of our lives, but it feels really special and wonderful to see a game that has given us so much joy come to fruition early this year.

Quick Pluto Dinerama Update — Pledge Manager Launching Soon

Greetings, Dineramos,
A little over a month out from the end of our campaign, we are still so grateful for and blown away by your support. Thank you for helping us launch our first ever game. We're so excited to get the game into your homes. Sadly, we've lost one of our biggest supporters, in games and in life.
Rhonda Spiro, Frank's mother, passed away in October surrounded by her family. She had a biting sense of humor, an amazing career as a doctor and geneticist, and a sharp eye for style and art. In her retirement, she spent most of her time in her pottery studio—she even made the first ever Pluto Dinerama mugs. She was a creative force and continues to be an inspiration.
We planned to get pledges squared away immediately following the end of our campaign, but life had other plans. While we're still grieving and moving a bit slower than we expected back in August, manufacturing should begin soon and we hope to get the Pledge Manager up and running by the end of this week or early next week.
Thank you for your patience in this difficult time. We hope this game brings you many laughs with people you love.
